Cocoa Laney (b. 1994) is an American editor, writer, and documentary photographer born and raised in Alabama and based in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has featured in publications such as The British Journal of Photography, The Observer, LensCulture, and The Independent. She holds an MA in documentary photography and photojournalism from London College of Communication and is the recipient of the 2019 Royal Photographic Society postgraduate bursary award.
Professionally, Cocoa is the lifestyle reporter/editor for Cascadia Daily News in Bellingham, Washington.
