I firmly believe that that, deep down, everybody's got some quirk to them. I'm not saying that human nature isn't pretty definitive; no, we're not THAT different. But, considering that there are so many factors that play a role in who a person becomes, everybody is coming from a slightly different perspective. There's a lot of overlap, but still- everyone's just a little weird in their own way, and that's what makes people so great. As a photographer, it's my job to find that quirk. I get to scout out those distinctive bits that come together to form an individual and document them as best I can. Photography is all about embracing that touch of weirdness, and it's my favorite part of what I do.
So, on that note, here's a deconstructed portrait for you- some physical bits and pieces of some people I care about; a few of the things that make up who they are.
